Play.com crowned UK's top retailer for customer satisfaction

Play.com, one of gem's clients, has been crowned the UK’s top retailer for customer satisfaction.
The National Consumer Satisfaction Index (NCSI-UK) gave Play.com the highest ranking across all sectors of retail with a leading score of 88 out of 100.
Their fantastic score placed us top of the E-Commerce sector as well as number one retailer overall, beating online competitors such as Amazon, department stores like Waitrose, Tesco and John Lewis, as well as other high street electrical retailers.
The findings come from surveying customer experiences in the fourth quarter of 2009, by looking at the overall satisfaction level with making a purchase as well as their expectations, perceived quality and response to complaints.
Currently gem handle calls, e-mails, account security checking, returns processing and white mail lost item claim forms for Play.com as well as managing fraud prevention processes at weekends and holidays.
